AlienHelpers: Enhancing the Alien Worlds Community with More Mining Events
AlienHelpers, a vital part of the Alien Worlds community since early 2021, continues to innovate and bring excitement to players through engaging community mining events. Thanks to the support from the Galactic Hubs grant program, the AlienHelpers team is now able to run events with larger prize pools, aiming to increase community interaction, satisfaction, and participation.
About AlienHelpers
Since its inception, AlienHelpers has been dedicated to enhancing community engagement and fostering a deeper understanding of the Alien Worlds ecosystem. Originally a community-run staking service, it has evolved into a comprehensive cross-social integration platform. This platform connects Alien Worlds social accounts to on-chain activity, enabling seamless participation in mining competitions and other community events.
Sustaining Community Interaction
With the grant from Galactic Hubs, AlienHelpers is committed to using the entire fund to reward the community, ensuring that no part of it is used for salaries or commissions. This commitment is geared towards enhancing player participation and engagement. The team plans to increase the frequency of events, making them weekly or biweekly, and is focused on avoiding conflicts with other community-run events to ensure maximum participation across all activities.
Community Feedback and Participation
One of the core principles of AlienHelpers is to actively seek and incorporate feedback from the community. This approach ensures that everyone has a voice in shaping the future of these events. Additionally, plans are underway to enable community members to create their own events without needing blockchain knowledge. This inclusive strategy fosters a sense of ownership and belonging among players.
How It Works
Participating in these events is straightforward. Players continue to mine in the Alien Worlds UI and link their wallet address to their Discord or Telegram accounts. By using the /lastmine
command in the social channels, players can fetch their latest mining results, which are then displayed in chat and added to their total during event periods. The /lastmineleaderboard
command allows players to pull up the leaderboard during these events, adding a competitive edge to the mining activities.
The Role of the AlienHelpers Bot
The AlienHelpers bot is central to the success of these events. It offers a range of features that facilitate mining competitions, including diverse rules, enticing rewards, and flexible durations. Over the past four months, the bot has been significantly enhanced to enable cross-platform event hosting, covering the official Alien Worlds Discord and Telegram channels. The seamless integration of this bot has resulted in numerous successful events, some attracting over 10,000 participants. On average, these events see more than 300 participants, with the most recent one drawing in 593 players.
Looking Forward
With continuous support from the passionate Alien Worlds community and the Galactic Hubs grant program, the future of Alien Worlds events looks brighter than ever. The team remains dedicated to fostering community engagement and enhancing the overall experience for players. For any questions or collaboration opportunities, the AlienHelpers team can be reached on Discord or Telegram.
By continuously improving their offerings and listening to the community, AlienHelpers is set to make an even bigger impact on the Alien Worlds community, making each mining event a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for all players involved.
